SlideSleuth Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains the SlideSleuth 14-day money-back promise and the difference between requesting a refund and cancelling future subscription renewal. It forms part of the SlideSleuth Terms of Service.
Our 14-day money-back promise
If SlideSleuth is not useful for you, you may request a full refund of your first paid subscription charge within 14 calendar days after that charge. You do not need to give us a reason.
The promise:
- applies once per customer and covers the first charge for your first paid SlideSleuth subscription;
- applies whether your first paid plan is Plus or Pro;
- covers the full amount actually charged at checkout for that first subscription transaction; and
- does not cover later renewal charges, plan-change charges, or other purchases.
The 14-day period begins when the first paid subscription charge is successfully processed. Your request is timely if we receive it within 14 periods of 24 hours after that payment timestamp.
How to request your refund
Submit the contact form using the email address associated with your SlideSleuth account and select “14-day refund request.” Do not send payment-card details.
We will verify the account and payment and issue an eligible refund within five business days after receiving the information needed to identify the charge. We will send confirmation by email. The refund will be returned to the original payment method. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post it to your account.
What happens to your subscription
When we process an approved refund under the 14-day promise, we will also cancel the associated paid subscription immediately. Your account will move to the Free plan and access to paid features will end when the refund is issued. Information associated with your account is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
If you only want to stop the next monthly charge and retain paid access through the end of your current billing period, cancel future renewal through your online SlideSleuth account instead of requesting a refund.
Cancelling future renewal
You may cancel future renewal at any time through the online billing controls in your SlideSleuth account. Cancellation stops future subscription charges and normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. Deleting SlideSleuth Desktop or not using the Service does not cancel a subscription.
If the online cancellation control is unavailable because of a technical problem, submit the contact form using your account email address. We will not require a phone call or unnecessary steps to cancel.
Cancellation by itself does not create a refund request. Except for the 14-day promise, a billing error, or a refund required by applicable law, we do not provide refunds or credits for renewal charges or unused time in a monthly billing period.
Billing errors and unauthorized charges
If you believe you were charged after a cancellation took effect, charged more than once, charged an incorrect amount, or charged without authorization, contact Stripe/Link transaction support or submit the contact form promptly. Include your account email address, the charge date, and the amount, but do not send full payment-card details. We will investigate and correct confirmed billing errors.
Rights under applicable law
This policy provides contractual rights in addition to any rights you may have under applicable law. Nothing in this policy limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived. Where applicable law gives you a more favorable refund or cancellation right, that law controls.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy for future purchases. A change will not reduce the 14-day promise that applied when your first paid subscription began. The Last Updated date above shows when this policy was last revised.
